In addition to a unique logo, each Olympic games adopts a mascot. The mascot usually appears in the Opening Ceremonies and on some memorabilia, especially children's items.

"Izzy" was the 1996 mascot, and my Atlanta commemorative set includes four pins featuring him/her/it. This unusually shaped pin shows Izzy, a cute little cartoon character, against a white background carrying the torch. |
